We are so very blessed!

I received a wonderful story about ten years ago about a young boy and a grade five teacher who learned from each other a very important lesson that changed each of their lives forever after. I posted that story on the door of my bookcase next to my desk so that I would see it every day and remind myself, how very, very blessed I was to be a teacher.

Today, ten years later, this video clip was sent to me by someone I´ve never met. To my surprise, it was that same story made up in a short movie. As it was one of the most important lessons I have ever learned about teaching, I am posting it here on this blog, with the hope that it will also help you to see how blessed you are in your life´s work as a teacher.

We have a chance to learn so much from our students if we listen and let them.
We have a chance to make a difference every time we enter a classroom.
Yes, as I see it, we are so very blessed!!!
